Te Hui Amorangi ki Te Tairawhiti works on a local level as Pariha (parishes) covering local ministry.
These Pariha come together as five Rohe (regions), who work alongside the central team and the various Hui Amorangi Ministries. The Hui Amorangi as a whole meets quarterly as Amorangi Whaiti (Executive/Standing Committee), and annually in the Hui-a-Tau (Annual General Meeting/Synod).
Five Pihopatanga or Hui Amorangi, covering the whole of Aotearoa (Te Tairawhiti, Te Taitokerau, Te Manawa o Te Wheke, Te Upoko o Te Ika, and Te Waipounamu) together make up Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa, also known as Tikanga Maori, of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
